About Calvary Outreach Ministries
MISSION STATEMENT
The Calvary Outreach Ministries International is born out of a burden to restore and upheld the biblical apostolic succession and New Testament biblical principles of Christianity.
"Therefore, the church being part of the Body of Christ will endeavour to preach the full Gospel to the entire world. It shall by God's grace equip all saints for work of the ministry and building the Body of Jesus Christ in unity of the faith, so that together we may mature unto the measure of the stature of the fullness of Christ."
AIMS
(a)To upheld the authoritative, infallible and inerrant of the Holy Bible being supreme for doctrine, teaching and governance of all saints (2 Timothy 3:16; 2 Peter 1:21).
(b)To proclaim the full Gospel of salvation to all nations and making them disciples of Jesus Christ and signs following all who shall believe (Mark 16:15-20; 1 Corinthians 2:2-4).
(c)To equip the saints for the ministry and service in building up the Body of Christ (Ephesians 4:11-12).
OBJECTIVES
(a) To preach the Gospel to all nations.
(b) To establish Christian Churches around the world herein referred to as "Mission Centres."
(c) To train Christian Church leaders for the equipping of the saints through the school of ministry.
(d) To promote and create outreach programmes in the communities.
(e) To promote holistic ministry and bring transformation in society development.
(f) To empower man spiritually, socially, emotionally and economically through the teaching of the Word of God and meeting needs.
STATEMENT OF FAITH
(a) We believe that the Bible is the inspired and only infallible and authoritative Word of God and only rule for Christian faith and conduct (2 Timothy 3:16-17).
(b) We believe that there is only one God, eternal, existent in three persons; Father, Son and Holy Spirit (Isaiah 43:10-11; Deuteronomy 4:35,39; Matthew 28:19; 1 John 5:7).
(c) We believe in the deity of our Lord Jesus Christ, in His virgin birth, in His sinless life, in His divine miracles, in His vicarious and anointing death, in His bodily resurrection, in His ascension to the right hand of the Father, and in His personal future return to this earth in power and glory to rule the nations (Col 2:9; 1Cor 15:1-4; Isa 7:14; Heb 4:15; 1 Peter 3:18; Mark 16:11; 1 Tim 2:5; Luke 21:27).
(d) We believe that the only means of salvation is through repentance toward God and faith in the Lord Jesus Christ and that this results in regeneration by the Holy Spirit (Rom 3:10-23; Act 2:38; 4:12; Eph 2:8-9; John 6:63).
(e) We believe that the redemptive work of Christ on the Cross of Calvary provides the healing of the human's soul, spirit and body and in the wounds of Christ we are healed (Isaiah 53:5).
(f) We believe in the baptism of the Holy Spirit, also in the gifts and the fruit of the Holy Spirit (Act 2:4; 19:6; Matt 3:11; 1Cor 12:1-11; Gal 5:22-23).
(g) We believe that the Holy Spirit is God. His ministry is to glorify the Lord Jesus Christ, convict the world of sin and regenerate the sinner upon believing in Christ. He indwells every believer upon conversion and enables the believer to live a holy life to witness in power and work for the Lord Jesus Christ (Act 1:18; John 16:3-8; 1 John 5:1; Rom 8:9; 1 Peter 1:2).
(h) We believe in the bodily resurrection of all the dead, of the believer to everlasting life and joy with the Lord and of the unbeliever to judgement and everlasting punishment (1Cor 15:54; John 5:25,28-29; 1Thes 4:16-17; Rev 20:11-15).
